Home Cancellation Policy

Overview

BeachClubDXB acts as an intermediary marketplace connecting you with beach club, hotel pool, and rooftop venue operators across Dubai. When you book through our platform, we facilitate the transaction — so cancellation and refund terms are a combination of our platform policy and the individual venue's own rules.

We believe in fairness and flexibility. Most bookings can be cancelled or modified at no charge if you give sufficient notice. The key is timing: the closer you cancel to your arrival date, the more restrictive the refund terms become.

This policy applies to all booking types made through beachclubdxb.com: day passes, pool day passes, cabana and daybed reservations, and group package bookings.

Quick summary: Cancel 48+ hours in advance for a full refund on most bookings. Cancel within 24 hours for a 50% refund on day passes. Cabana and group bookings have longer notice windows. No-shows are non-refundable.

Day Pass Cancellations

Day passes are the most flexible booking type on our platform. We've worked with venues to offer reasonable cancellation windows that protect both guests and operators.

Date Changes for Day Passes

Subject to availability, you may request a date change for your day pass booking at no cost if done more than 48 hours before the original booking date. Within 48 hours, date changes are treated as a cancellation and re-booking under the terms above. Requests can be submitted via our contact form or by emailing info@beachclubdxb.com.

Cabana & Daybed Cancellations

Cabanas and daybeds represent a premium, reserved inventory that venues allocate specifically to confirmed bookings. As a result, longer notice is required for a full refund.

Minimum Spend Deposits

Some cabana bookings require a minimum spend deposit at the time of reservation. If you cancel within the eligible window, the deposit will be refunded in full. If you cancel outside the eligible window or no-show, the deposit is forfeited. The total minimum spend commitment may still apply for late cancellations at the venue's discretion.

Group Package Cancellations

Group bookings (typically 10 or more guests, including corporate events, birthday packages, bridal parties, and bachelor/bachelorette groups) are subject to more restrictive terms due to the planning, staffing, and inventory allocation involved.

Reducing Guest Numbers

If you booked for a specific number of guests and your group size decreases, please notify us as early as possible. Reductions of more than 20% in guest count with less than 72 hours' notice will be treated as a partial cancellation, and the venue may charge for the originally confirmed number of guests.

How to Cancel or Modify a Booking

All cancellations and modification requests must be submitted in writing. We do not accept verbal cancellations. You can request a cancellation or change through any of the following methods:

Cancellation requests are processed during business hours (Sunday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM UAE time). Requests received outside business hours will be processed on the next business day, but the request timestamp will be noted for refund eligibility purposes.

You will receive a cancellation confirmation email within 1 business day. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that unexpected situations arise. In the following cases, you may be eligible for a full refund or credit regardless of the standard cancellation window:

Important: Exceptional circumstance requests must be submitted within 7 days of the booking date, accompanied by supporting documentation. Requests without documentation will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.

BeachClubDXB Credits

In some situations where a cash refund is not applicable, we may offer BeachClubDXB platform credits. These credits:

Venue-Specific Policies

Some venues on our platform operate under their own, more restrictive cancellation policies — particularly ultra-luxury venues (such as Burj Al Arab, Four Seasons, and similar properties) and all-inclusive resorts. In these cases, the venue's policy supersedes BeachClubDXB's standard terms.

Where a venue's policy is stricter than ours, this will be clearly disclosed on the venue's profile page and in your booking confirmation email before you complete payment. You will always be informed of the applicable policy before finalising a booking.

Gift Card & Voucher Bookings

Bookings made using a BeachClubDXB gift card or voucher follow the same cancellation timelines as above. Upon eligible cancellation, the value will be returned to the original gift card or voucher balance (not as a cash refund). Expired vouchers used towards a booking are non-refundable.

Disputes & Complaints

If you believe a refund has been incorrectly assessed or you are dissatisfied with the outcome of a cancellation request, you may escalate to our disputes team by emailing info@beachclubdxb.com with the subject line "Refund Dispute – [Booking Reference]". We aim to resolve all disputes within 10 business days.

BeachClubDXB is committed to acting as a fair and neutral intermediary. In disputes between guests and venues, we will review all relevant information and aim to reach an equitable resolution in line with UAE consumer protection standards.
