Beach by FIVE at the FIVE Palm Jumeirah is one of Dubai's most visually striking beach clubs. The 150-metre private beach stretches along the Palm's crescent, giving you panoramic views across the Arabian Gulf toward Dubai Marina's skyline. The signature glass-lined pool with an overhead chandelier has become one of Dubai's most photographed luxury features — expect to see it on every Dubai influencer's Instagram.
The atmosphere is unambiguously party-forward. FIVE Palm has built its brand around Ibiza-style beach club energy — daytime DJ sets that transition smoothly into sunset sessions and then full nightclub programming as the evening progresses. If you want a chilled, quiet beach day reading your book, this is not your venue. If you want your sunlounger to feel like a front-row seat at a premium pool party, FIVE Palm delivers spectacularly.
The day pass is fully redeemable, meaning you get your AED 200–300 as food and drink credit. Given that a beach club cocktail at FIVE runs AED 70–90 and a main course AED 100–140, a light-to-moderate eating/drinking day will typically match or slightly exceed the pass value. Note: FIVE Palm's main pool (Bohemia) was undergoing renovations at time of writing — the beach and Social Pool remain fully operational. Always confirm current status before booking.
Book well in advance for Fridays — FIVE Palm's beach sells out regularly by Wednesday for the following weekend. If you're visiting for the full day, arrive early to secure a front-row beach position before the main crowds arrive from 1pm onward.
Rixos The Palm Dubai Hotel & Suites takes a fundamentally different approach to the day pass model. Rather than a redeemable credit system, Rixos offers a true all-inclusive daycation where everything — food, house beverages, soft drinks, and beach/pool access — is covered in one upfront price. For families and guests who plan to eat and drink throughout the day without tracking spend, this is significantly less stressful.
The facilities are extensive. Three pools — a main pool, a lap pool, and a shaded children's pool — give different visitor types their own space. The private beach is large and well-maintained. The buffet is expansive and internationally-themed. And the children's facilities are some of the best at any Palm Jumeirah venue, with dedicated kids' programming on certain days.
The key distinction: the AED 179 day pass is for access only, without food and drinks included. The AED 599 all-inclusive weekday daycation is the comparable product to FIVE Palm's redeemable day pass model. For families who will consume significant F&B, the all-inclusive model is typically better value. For lighter spenders, the access-only pass at AED 179 with pay-as-you-go F&B may be cheaper overall.
