Al Sufouh, Knowledge Village, Dubai Media City and Internet City sit in one of Dubai's most fortunate residential and work locations: right next to the beach. If you live or work in this cluster, you're closer to more beach clubs than anywhere else in the city outside of JBR itself. Zero Gravity is a 15-minute walk. Barasti is 25 minutes. The Palm is 5 minutes by car. This guide tells you exactly what's available, how to get there, and which venues make sense depending on what you're after.
Also covers: Dubai Science Park (adjacent to Al Sufouh), Al Sufouh 1 & 2 residences, One&Only precinct, Madinat Jumeirah edge. See our dedicated TECOM guide for Dubai Production City and TECOM.
You're Already Next to the Beach
Al Sufouh / Knowledge Village residents have a major advantage almost no one talks about: Al Sufouh Beach (the "Secret Beach" or "Hidden Beach") is a free public stretch of coastline accessible directly from Al Sufouh Road, running from the Burj Al Arab side toward Atlantis. It's not signposted, it has limited parking, but it's quiet and genuinely beautiful.
Zero Gravity, one of Dubai's most popular paid beach clubs, is also effectively in your backyard at ~1.5–2km from Knowledge Village. You are very well positioned.

Al Sufouh has a continuous beachside walking/cycling path that connects to the JBR Marina Walk, passing directly in front of Zero Gravity and then through the JBR promenade. In the cooler months (October–April), this is one of Dubai's most pleasant commutes to a beach club.
- Al Sufouh / KV → Zero Gravity: 15–25 min walk (beachside path)
- Al Sufouh → Barasti: 30–45 min walk (via Zero Gravity path + JBR beach)
- Dubai Media City → Zero Gravity by bike (Careem Bikes): ~10 min
- Jun–Sep: Do not walk between 09:00 and 17:00 — temperatures reach 40–44°C. Careem or Metro instead.
