Fluid Beach Club is Th8 Palm Dubai's signature outdoor space — a chic, architectural infinity pool on the East Crescent of Palm Jumeirah that is pointed directly at Dubai Marina, Ain Dubai, and the golden hour. Where the Palm's West Crescent clubs deliver Arabian Gulf sunsets over open water, Fluid specialises in the other kind — the city skyline lighting up across the bay while the infinity edge of the pool dissolves into the horizon.

The aesthetic is modern-Mediterranean done with restraint: white sunbeds in tidy rows, cherry-red parasols that photograph beautifully against the blue water, polished terrazzo flooring, bone-coloured linens, and a colour palette that photographs well in almost any light. It's a design-first space that understands Instagram without pandering to it — the pool is genuinely beautiful whether or not a camera is involved.

The resort itself — Th8 Palm, part of IHG's Vignette Collection — is boutique-scale and distinctly design-forward, which means Fluid never feels like an overflowing hotel pool. Loungers are well-spaced, the sunbeds are deep and actually comfortable (not the flimsy plastic kind), and the cabanas sit right at the pool edge with the Marina skyline as the backdrop. There's a proper kitchen, a capable DJ programme from Thursday onward, and a bar that takes its cocktails seriously without being precious about them.

Weekdays (Mon-Thu) at AED 200 this is one of Palm Jumeirah's better-value beach days. Weekends at AED 300 remain competitive given the view and the execution. Light Bites, Sharing Plates, Sunset Cocktails

Fluid's kitchen is firmly in the beach-club-plus tradition — not a formal restaurant, not a snack bar, but a deliberately curated poolside menu built for long afternoons in the sun. The emphasis is on shareability, freshness, and the kind of food that works just as well at 2pm as it does as a sunset nibble after a swim.

Expect tuna tartare, burrata with heirloom tomato and basil oil, truffle fries, crispy baby squid, grilled-chicken Caesar with anchovy dressing, wagyu sliders, a properly dressed Mediterranean pizza, and a range of sushi and sashimi plates that lean Nikkei (Japanese-Peruvian) in their flavour work. Ceviches rotate through the week. The watermelon-and-feta salad is a quiet star that guests order repeatedly.

The bar is where Fluid leans into its sunset identity. The signature Fluid Spritz (Aperol, grapefruit, cava) is the most-ordered drink on the menu. Frozen cocktails — margaritas, daiquiris, piña coladas — are done with real fruit and proper dilution, not the slushy-machine horror you'll find at lesser Palm venues.
