Bohemia is FIVE Palm Jumeirah's dedicated adults-only pool-party concept — a boho-chic, colour-saturated, electronic-music-driven destination that takes over a distinct section of the FIVE complex and runs its own programming, pricing and entry policy. It is, depending on how you feel about house music and rosé before lunch, either Dubai's most fun weekly party or its most relentless. Either way it has a strong point of view.

The aesthetic is what the name suggests: bright multi-coloured umbrellas clustered over the pool deck, Ibiza-style macrame swings and hanging chairs, colourful kilim throws over sun loungers, and a bohemian graphic language that feels more Tulum-meets-Mykonos than generic Dubai luxury. The centrepiece is an infinity glass-edge pool that appears to cascade into the Arabian Gulf, surrounded by ultra-premium cushioned loungers, cabanas along both sides, and a dedicated DJ booth that dominates the layout. The Palm skyline — Atlantis and Royal Atlantis in one direction, Marina in the other — is impossible to ignore.

The programming is the real draw. Saturday is Bohemia Presents — a full-day party that starts calmer at midday, builds through afternoon, and hits peak around 7pm–11pm with internationally-touring headline DJs. The line-up historically reads like a who's-who of the international house and melodic-house scene; Mixmag has covered the booking announcements multiple times. Sundays run Sunset Sessions — a calmer, more melodic-house leaning format from around 6pm that builds toward 11pm. Weekdays sit quieter with daybed-and-dining trade.

The food-and-drink offer is Mediterranean-inspired and deliberately party-friendly — sharing plates, seafood towers, signature cocktails, bottle service, and a strong champagne-and-rosé trade. It will not win Michelin stars, but that is not the point. Party-Friendly Mediterranean

Bohemia's kitchen runs a Mediterranean-inspired menu engineered specifically for a pool-party context — sharing plates that work cold, big seafood platters that photograph well, and a small but sharp list of hot mains executed to consistent standards. It will not be the most ambitious cooking on Palm Jumeirah, but it supports a long afternoon of drinking without feeling like an afterthought.

Start with the seafood tower — oysters, prawns, ceviche and tuna tartare on ice — or the Mediterranean mezze with hummus, babaganoush, labneh and warm pita. Mains lean grilled: whole sea bass with herbs and olive oil, seared tuna, chicken paillard, or a ribeye for the table. Pizza comes off a wood-fired oven; the truffle is the default order. Lava prawns (similar to Koko Bay's) make an appearance.

Drinks are where Bohemia invests most heavily. The bar runs a full premium cocktail programme — bramble, spicy margarita, palomas, espresso martinis in the evening — plus an extensive champagne list (Dom, Krug, Veuve, Ruinart), rosé by the bottle, and an aggressive bottle service programme for cabana bookings. Non-alcoholic cocktails are well-represented. Bohemia's signature drink trolleys parading through the crowd for birthdays and bottle orders are a core piece of the theatre.
