Rashidiya and Mirdif are established east Dubai residential communities sitting inland between Emirates Road (E611) and the airport. They share a similar beach challenge: getting across the city to the coast. The good news is the Red Line Metro runs directly from Rashidiya terminal station to the beach — and by car, Al Khail Road provides a mostly toll-free corridor to Jumeirah venues. The journey is 30–45 minutes off-peak, which is very manageable for a day trip.
This guide covers Rashidiya, Mirdif, Muhaisnah, Nad Al Hamar, and the surrounding inner east Dubai areas. Whether you're driving or taking the Metro, we'll show you the fastest route to every major Dubai beach club.
🚇 Rashidiya Metro Advantage
Rashidiya is a Red Line terminal station — one of the few areas in Dubai where you can step onto the Metro at the origin and ride all the way to DMCC for JBR. No transfers, no waiting. Journey time: 45–55 minutes. Metro fare: AED 7–8.5. This makes Rashidiya one of the best-connected beach-going communities in Dubai without a car.

Best Routes: Car vs Metro
For Jumeirah (La Mer / Soul / Kite / Nikki):
Emirates Road (E611) → Al Khail Road (D68) south → Al Wasl Road or Jumeirah Road. Fully toll-free. Best route from both Rashidiya and Mirdif.
For JBR / Palm (Zero Gravity / Barasti / AURA):
Al Khail Road → SZR south (AED 4–8 Salik). Leave before 7:30am Fri/Sat. Park free at JBR early, or use paid lots (AED 10–20/day).
For JBR / Barasti / Zero Gravity:
Red Line from Rashidiya → DMCC (45–55 min, AED 7–8.5). No transfers. Walk 5 min or short Careem to JBR beach. Best Fri/Sat option to avoid traffic.
For Kite Beach / Nikki Beach:
Red Line → Mall of Emirates + short taxi (AED 20–30). Total ~60–70 min. Less convenient than driving but reliable and cheap.

🕐 Friday / Saturday Timing Strategy
By car (Jumeirah / La Mer / Kite Beach / Nikki): Leave before 8:00am via Al Khail Rd. Traffic is light before 8am; after 9am the E311→Al Khail corridor fills from western communities heading in the same direction.
By car (JBR / Palm / Zero Gravity): Leave before 7:30am on SZR. SZR gets congested from 8am on Fridays heading westbound. Alternatively, use Al Khail Rd (toll-free) to Jumeirah Beach Rd north to JBR — slower but avoids SZR Salik and congestion.
Metro strategy: Rashidiya Red Line runs every 7–10 minutes from 5am. For JBR venues, Metro sidesteps all traffic. Recommended for groups of 3+ where parking costs and fuel would exceed Metro fares. Return journey on Metro also avoids the post-beach afternoon traffic surge.
