Which Dubai beach club is right for your day? Detailed scoring, pricing, and editor's verdict.
Tagomago and Twiggy are sister venues — both from the La Cantine group team that also runs Kyma and Mimi Kakushi. The two share design pedigree, kitchen standards, and operating polish but apply them to opposite cuisines and demographics. Tagomago is the team's Spanish-bohemian concept at Palm Jumeirah's lighthouse end (opened 2023); Twiggy is their design-led Mediterranean adults-only at La Mer (the longer-running of the two).
The two sit roughly 16 km apart across the city — Twiggy on the Jumeirah-1 coast, Tagomago at Palm Jumeirah's outer lighthouse. The decision between them is essentially Spanish-vs-Mediterranean, family-tolerant-vs-adults-only, and West-coast-vs-Palm setting.

Tagomago is one of Dubai's only proper Spanish beach clubs — the croquetas, gambas, padrón peppers, paella section all execute properly. Twiggy is well-cooked Mediterranean (more generic). For a properly distinctive cuisine experience at the beach, Tagomago is the genuine differentiator.
Tagomago explicitly offers kids' sunbeds (AED 100) and welcomes families across the day — rare in Dubai luxury beach clubs. Twiggy enforces 16+ adults-only strictly. For families, Tagomago is the only viable option between these two.
Twiggy's 16+ policy guarantees a consistent adults-only atmosphere — couples and small groups get the calm food-led day they're booking for. Tagomago is family-tolerant which gives it a different (broader) demographic. For child-free guarantee, Twiggy is the only choice.
Tagomago is built into the Palm Jumeirah archipelago next to the famous lighthouse — orange parasols, pink loungers, lighthouse architecture in every photograph. The setting is genuinely unique. Twiggy at La Mer is photogenic but more generic-Mediterranean coast.
The La Cantine group double-header doesn't quite work geographically (16 km between venues) but for a serious brand-fan: Twiggy at La Mer Friday lunch (adults-only design-led Mediterranean), Tagomago at Palm lighthouse Saturday (Spanish bohemia + family). Same kitchen pedigree, different programming registers. Both venues redeem fully on F&B; total budget AED 600–1,000 per person across two visits.
Tagomago edges Twiggy 8.7 to 8.4 overall — the more distinctive cuisine (proper Spanish), the family-tolerance (rare in luxury), the lighthouse setting, and the lower minimum-spend tier give it broader appeal. Twiggy wins decisively on adults-only consistency and design-led aesthetic. For couples wanting child-free guarantee with a design-led calm atmosphere, Twiggy. For Spanish-cuisine fans, family-tolerant days, or lighthouse photography, Tagomago.
