About Noépe Beach Club
Noépe is the French-Caribbean beach club inside J1 Beach — the curated restaurant-and-beach-club development on the Jumeirah 1 shoreline that has, over the past two years, quietly become the new centre of gravity for central Dubai's beach-day scene. It sits between La Mer to the south and the Four Seasons / Jumeirah public beach to the north, and is arguably the most design-forward property in the cluster: whitewashed timber, rattan Ladera-style loungers, aqua-blue-striped umbrellas, and a palette that borrows directly from Gustavia's Shell Beach and Nikki Beach St-Barths.
The proposition is simple. Refined, not loud. Grown-up, but not stuffy. Instagram-friendly, but with enough food and service substance to keep a Friday lunch going into a Saturday 1am close. Day passes start at AED 300 weekday / AED 450 weekend, fully redeemable against food and drink. Cabanas begin at AED 2,000 weekday minimum spend (seats 6) and rise to AED 4,000+ for the front-row VIP pavilions that look directly onto the Arabian Gulf.
The kitchen is where Noépe separates itself from J1's neighbouring venues. The menu draws on French bistro technique and Caribbean ingredients — crudo bars, lobster rolls with Creole mayo, whole grilled snapper with plantain, coconut ceviche, rum-marinated prawns, a Martinique-accented tartare. The daytime menu is deliberately lighter (poached lobster, salads, crudo), sliding into a more indulgent sunset-to-late programme after 6pm. The drinks list is rum-and-rosé forward — French rosé by the glass from Bandol and Corsica, an eight-rum tasting flight, and a signature "Noépe Punch" that has become the house order.
Where it really wins is the transition. Few central Dubai beach clubs survive the 7pm-to-midnight window well — most either close at sunset or become too loud. Noépe pulls off a proper St-Barths evening: candles on every table by 6:30pm, lounge-house soundtrack at conversation volume, dim warm lighting, slower service, and a kitchen that stays at full quality until 11pm. Friday and Saturday evenings skew more social with a resident DJ from 9pm, but it never becomes a nightclub — the max volume stays well under FIVE Palm or Nikki levels.

Food & drink
Crudo & Raw Bar
The heart of the daytime menu. Yellowfin tuna tartare with Caribbean mango and chilli; sea bream crudo with passion fruit and coriander; coconut ceviche of local hammour; Martinique-style marinated prawns with lime and scotch bonnet; a shellfish platter (oysters, clams, langoustines, crevettes) for two. Caviar available by the tin — Oscietra 30g AED 680.
Grill & Ocean
Where the Caribbean accent comes in strongest. Grilled whole snapper with plantain and Creole salsa; lobster roll with Creole mayo (the house signature, AED 145); jerk-spiced octopus; grilled tiger prawns with garlic-thyme butter; Martinique beef tartare; a Martinican curry goat that has a cult following. Sides: coconut rice, grilled pineapple, plantains, house fries, Caribbean slaw.
French Classics
The French bistro backbone. Steak frites with bearnaise; Niçoise salad with seared tuna; a proper croque monsieur at lunch; escargot for the old-school; grilled Dover sole with beurre blanc; truffle tagliolini; a rack of lamb for two. Cheeses are all raw-milk French — Brillat-Savarin, Comté 24 month, Roquefort, Reblochon — served with pain de campagne and fig jam.
Rum, Rosé & Cocktails
The bar programme is the quietest show-off on the J1 strip. Eight-rum tasting flight curated from Martinique (Clément, Neisson), Guadeloupe (Damoiseau), Barbados (Foursquare) and Jamaica (Appleton 21). The signature "Noépe Punch" — spiced rum, lime, falernum, passion fruit, bitters — is the house order. French rosé list: Domaine Tempier Bandol, Clos Cibonne, Château d'Esclans, Minuty. Wine list leans Provence, Corsica, Loire, Sancerre, plus a short Champagne focus (Ruinart, Billecart-Salmon, Krug by the bottle). Mocktails priced AED 45–65 — full programme, not an afterthought.

What guests say
4.6 / 5 from 358 reviews · Google, TripAdvisor and OpenTable aggregated.
"Finally a Dubai beach club that understands St-Barths. Linen, rattan, whitewashed wood, rosé at the right temperature, a lobster roll that would hold its own in Gustavia. We arrived at 3pm, left at 11pm. Best afternoon we've had on the J1 strip."— Camille L., Paris · March 2026
"The evening is the move. Sunset was spectacular, dinner was properly good (whole snapper, the rum flight, a Provençal rosé that lasted three hours), DJ was tasteful not loud. 11pm on a Saturday and we were still there — couldn't say that about many Dubai beach clubs."— James W., London · February 2026
"Gorgeous space, strong service, prices reflect the luxury positioning. Lunch is better value than dinner — AED 600pp total for a proper three-course and a bottle of rosé. Knocked a star because the front-row cabanas sell out weeks ahead and the second row loses the full sea view."— Priya K., Dubai resident · January 2026
