Dubai’s sky pools — at 50m+ elevation, with 360-degree skyline views, zero beach, maximum altitude. The city that invented the sky pool ranked.
This list is for pool-only venues — no beach, no sand. Most sit at elevation on rooftop decks or podiums. We ranked on four factors:
If you want beach access alongside your pool, browse real beachfront beach clubs. This page is pure sky.
No city has pushed vertical pool architecture like Dubai. Address Beach Resort’s rooftop pool sits 294m up (Guinness World Record for the highest infinity pool in a building). AURA at Palm Tower lives at 210m. Cloud 22 occupies the 22nd floor of Atlantis The Royal. The city’s hotel operators have stopped trying to build better beaches — they’re building better skies instead.
For the visitor or resident, the trade-off is simple. Sky pools give you the Instagram shot, the elevation breeze, the 360-degree skyline and a curated adults-only atmosphere. You lose the sand, the swim in the Gulf, and the families. Most sky venues are strictly 21+; Fluid and Caesars allow families at quieter times.
Pricing structure: these venues rarely charge pure entry fees. Most operate as minimum F&B spend models (AED 200-600 per sunbed or person) where your payment converts into food-and-drink credit. This makes them less transparent but often better value than equivalent beachfront — the minimum IS your meal.

AURA is the world’s first 360-degree infinity sky pool — circular, cantilevered, at 210m up the Palm Tower. You can swim in a continuous ring around the pool core and see every direction of Dubai from the water: Palm Jumeirah west, Dubai Marina north, Burj Al Arab east, open Gulf south. The glass wind wall and elevation breeze keep this the single most summer-comfortable pool in the city. 21+ strictly, 4 time slots per day, food by acclaimed chef Gregoire Berger.
Cloud 22 is the multi-pool sky venue at the top of Atlantis The Royal — seven interconnected pools cantilevered off the 22nd floor with Palm Crescent below. DJ-led afternoons, chef-driven dining (Dinner by Heston Blumenthal is downstairs), glass edges, and the best view of Atlantis The Palm’s own iconic architecture from elevation. 21+ strictly. Slot booking required. The best-dressed pool in Dubai.
Address Beach Resort holds the Guinness World Record for the highest infinity pool in a building — 294m up, looking straight down Dubai Marina and across to Palm Jumeirah. The pool is suspended between two towers with a glass floor and 77m of unobstructed water edge. Paid day passes include pool and lounger access; you can also enjoy the Address’ full resort beach below. Not beach-free like AURA or Cloud 22 — which is actually an advantage if you want both altitude and sand.
Wet Deck is the W Hotel’s rooftop pool — infinity edge, curated music programme, and the best pool-party energy outside of FIVE Palm. Lower elevation than AURA or Address but a stronger beat-per-minute atmosphere. Sundays are the legendary day; weekdays are serene. The W has its own beach access below, so this is another multi-level venue where the pool is the centrepiece but sand is available.
Fluid is the best-value sky pool in Dubai. Perched on top of TH8 Palm with a direct line of sight to Dubai Marina skyline, it delivers most of the elevation view experience at half the price of AURA or Cloud 22. Infinity-edge pool, red-parasol aesthetic, DJ weekends, casual Mediterranean menu. Families welcome on quieter days (unlike the 21+ premium venues). If you want a rooftop pool day without the premium price, this is the pick.
Caesars Palace Bluewaters has two pool decks — the main podium-level rooftop pool is a hidden gem with direct Ain Dubai views. Greco-Roman architectural aesthetic, marble loungers, infinity edge, and quiet elegant atmosphere. Less Instagram-famous than AURA or Cloud 22 but arguably better for a peaceful adult day. Families allowed at designated areas. Hotel-grade service.
Waldorf Astoria DIFC rooftop pool is the downtown insider’s choice — 18th floor, direct Burj Khalifa view, infinity edge, quiet adult atmosphere and some of the best poolside food in Dubai thanks to the hotel’s F&B programme (Bull & Bear, Asia Asia Sky). Perfect for a business-travel day-out or residents of Downtown/DIFC who don’t want to drive to Jumeirah. Small pool, big view.
Twelfth Knot is the rooftop pool and sky bar at the top of Jumeirah Burj Al Arab Hotel, named for the nautical speed of the building’s wave-shape. Pool deck with lounge seating, sunset programming, Mediterranean-seafood menu and the single best side-on view of Burj Al Arab in Dubai. Smaller and more intimate than AURA/Cloud 22 — perfect for couples. Part of Jumeirah group so service is polished.
The Habtoor Grand’s pool deck is among the best-value hotel day-pass pools on Sheikh Zayed Road. Multiple pools on a landscaped podium deck, Dubai Water Canal view, waterfall feature and all-ages access. Not a dramatic sky pool — podium level rather than rooftop — but delivers a resort day without the Jumeirah commute. Great for Downtown/Business Bay residents who want pool + shade + food without AED 400+ premiums.
Grosvenor House is the five-star Marriott property on Dubai Marina with a podium-level outdoor pool deck overlooking the Marina. Day passes are competitively priced, the pool is generous and uncrowded on weekdays, and the location — Tram access to JBR — is best-in-class for central accommodation. Less glamorous than AURA or Cloud 22 but a smart pick for business travellers or Marina residents who want a reliable hotel pool day.

A sky pool is a swimming pool built on top of a high-rise building, typically 50m+ above ground, with an edge or glass wall offering an elevated view. Dubai has pushed this format harder than any city on earth. AURA at Palm Tower sits 210m high; Address Beach Resort rooftop 294m; Cloud 22 at Atlantis The Royal around 96m with multi-pool cantilever design.
AURA Skypool is the undisputed #1 for 360-degree view — you see the full Palm Jumeirah layout, Dubai Marina skyline and open Gulf from 210m up. Address Beach Resort pool sits even higher at 294m and has the Burj Al Arab in frame. Cloud 22 at Atlantis The Royal delivers the best Palm Crescent view.
No — these are pool-only venues. If you want a beach AND a pool, the hotel versions (Address, Waldorf, Hilton Habtoor, Grosvenor) have both. If you want pure rooftop experience at elevation (AURA, Cloud 22, Twelfth Knot, Fluid) there is no beach — you trade sand for view.
Entry varies widely. AURA Skypool AED 300 to 500. Cloud 22 AED 350 to 600. Wet Deck AED 200 to 400. Fluid AED 150 to 300. Caesars AED 250 to 380. Waldorf DIFC AED 200 to 400. Most premium sky pools have a minimum spend structure rather than pure entry fee.
Yes. Pools at 50m+ elevation benefit from 2 to 5 degrees cooler ambient air than street level in peak summer thanks to sea breeze and reduced radiant heat from paved surfaces. AURA at 210m and Address pool at 294m are among the most summer-comfortable pool venues in Dubai.
Most premium rooftop pools in Dubai are adults-only or strict 21+. AURA Skypool, Cloud 22, Twelfth Knot and Wet Deck are all 21+ strictly enforced. Hotel pool day passes (Address, Waldorf, Hilton Habtoor, Grosvenor) typically allow families. Fluid allows all ages weekdays.
Every venue here operates on slot-booked or limited day-pass models. AURA and Cloud 22 regularly sell out 3-4 weeks in advance; Address Beach Resort passes go even quicker. Start your booking early.
